In October 2011, the Wyoming Department of Education received a grant for the second time from the Office of Special Education Programs. The grant was designed to help educators in rural areas receive training on Autism spectrum disorders. Although Wyoming is a vast state with a limited population, educators from even the most remote areas can obtain certificates in special education that will help them teach students with disabilities.
