Located in Carson, CA, California State University, Dominguez Hills, was founded in 1960 as South Bay State College. With 12,000 enrolled students, the school offers degrees through the colleges of Business Administration and Public Policy, Education, Extended and International Education, Health and Human Services, Arts and Humanities, and Natural and Behavioral Sciences. Located near downtown Los Angeles, the school offers 45 undergraduate majors, 24 master’s degree programs, and several certificate and credential programs. The School of Education at California State University, Dominguez Hills, offers several education programs under the Teacher Education Department.
