Drake University. Drake offers master's degrees in special education, leadership, and counseling, as well as master's degrees that lead specifically to teacher certification at both the elementary and secondary level.

University of Iowa. The University of Iowa offers Master of Arts and Master of Science degrees in education, both of which can be completed either with or without a thesis. The school also offers a Master of Arts in teaching degree.
