University of the Southwest
Hobbs Baptist College was founded by B. Clarence Evans. The university offers a 12 to 1 student teacher ratio and over 20 degree programs in arts, sciences, business and education. For athletic students, sports such as basketball, baseball and more are available. For students who want to get involved in campus life, a variety of clubs and Greek organizations are available. The School of Education at the university awards both undergraduate and graduate degrees.
